SimplifiedClaim provides software and advisory services to prepare Canadian SR&ED claims (and related provincial and US R&D credits). By creating an account, using the platform, or connecting to it through an AI assistant (the SimplifiedClaim MCP server or the in-app assistant), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the accounts you create and for the people you invite to your workspace, and you must only upload information you are entitled to share.
To keep your data off our own AI systems, our AI tools can send your assistant the instructions it needs to do the work: our eligibility rubric, extraction and review rules, scoping and analysis methods, T661 writing rules, time-allocation rules and similar material (the “SimplifiedClaim methods”).
The SimplifiedClaim methods are our confidential intellectual property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them only to prepare claims inside SimplifiedClaim, for the companies in your account. You may not copy, extract, store, publish, resell or reuse them to build or train another product or service, or to prepare claims outside SimplifiedClaim.
Access to these methods requires a signed-in account, some of them require a paid claim, and every access is logged. We may suspend access for accounts that use the methods without preparing claims on the platform.
The financial records, technical documents and narratives you provide remain yours. We use them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy, and you can delete them at any time, or ask us to.
Estimates, readiness scores, drafts and checklists produced by the platform or by an AI assistant are preparation aids. They are not a tax or legal opinion and do not guarantee acceptance by the Canada Revenue Agency, Revenu Québec or the IRS. You remain responsible for what you file.
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: support@simplifiedclaim.com.
